Samantha Greenfield, R.N.
Samantha became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in 2004. She worked at Nelson’s Nursing Home and Sunnybrook respectively from 2004-2006. During this time she received specialized training for patients with Alzheimer’s.
 
In 2010, Samantha graduated from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa, with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse for a 120 bed skilled nursing facility in Des Moines, IA.
 

Kim Worsfold, L.M.T., L.P.N., M.F.R.T.
In 1979 Kim Worsfold graduated and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Bangor, Maine. Her work experience within the medical field includes MED Surgery, Psychology, OB/GYN, Geriatrics, Occupational/Physical Therapy Aide, Sports and Rehabilitation. Adding to her medical training, Kim became an Ayurvedic Technician, as well as, a practitioner of the Ayurvedic Mother/Baby Massage Program. She also has six years of Chinese Qi Gong training and is a Reiki Master/Teacher training level in the Usui Method.
 
Kim graduated from Guiding Light School of Massage Therapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2004. She is a member of National Certification of Massage Therapy and Bodywork (NCMTB). Kim currently is working out of her own private practice.
 
Kim has completed the following continued education courses for massage therapy: Dynamic Myofascial Release Therapy I and II, Integrated Application of Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Mobilization Techniques and Gaia’s Touch Heated Stone Massage.
 
 
Megan Robinson, L.M.T.
Megan is a graduate of Guiding Light School of Massage Therapy and received her license to practice in 2009.
 
Specialized training includes, Aromatherapy, Topical Therapies, Special Needs and Geriatric Massage, Myofascial Massage, Integrative Reflexology and Gaia’s Touch Heated Stone Massage. Megan is also a certified La Leche League Leader.
 

John Worsfold, L.M.T., M.F.R.T.
John graduated from Guiding Light School of Massage Therapy and was issued a license to practice Massage Therapy in 2006.
 
He is also a member of the National Certification of Massage Therapy and Bodywork, (NCMBT) and the American Massage Therapy Association, (AMTA).
 
John has specialized training in Myofascial Release Therapy (MFRT) and Sports Massage. Training also includes Gaia’s Touch Heated Stone Massage and various levels of Qi Gong. He became a Qi Gong Instructor.
 
Currently, John is an Independent Contractor operating his own private practice and Contracting with other Massage Therapy facilities.
 
 
Michael Shay, MS, L.M.T., C.N.A.
Michael received a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State College in 1970 in health, recreation, and physical education with a minor in psychology. He continued his education in psychology and earned a MS in 1973 and Counselor Education Endorsement in 1975. He also received his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from Indian Hills Community College in 2009.
 
Michael worked as a Guidance Councilor in North Haven High School Connecticut from 1974-75 and for various business organizations dealing with emotionally handicapped populations from 1975-82.
 
Having interest in holistic health and body therapies, Michael has continued his education to include certified practitioner of Axiatonal Process (1978), MariEl Healing (1984, adv1986), CranioSacral Therapy (2001), Touch for Health (1986), Traditional Reiki-advanced practitioner (1991 and adv 1993), and Tera-Mai (TM) Reiki Master (1995), and various types of kinesiology (1984-1987). 
 
In 2011, Michael graduated from Guiding Light School of Massage Therapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist, (L.M.T). He has Specialized training in Special Needs Populations, Oriental Bodywork Therapies (Chinese Shiatsu and Acupressure), Integrated Reflexology and Myofascial Massage.
 
Michael has written the book, Reduce Blood Pressure Naturally, published by Xlibris in July 2005. Currently he is writing a book on reversing diabetes.
 
 
Joy L. Mellum, L.M.T., H.H.P., B.S.T.
From 1979 to 1981, Joy Mellum worked as a CNA in a nursing home facility in Wisconsin. She received an Associate of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin Baron County in 1988. Joy owned and operated Healthy Inspirations Health and Fitness Center from 1994 to 1996. Also in 1994, she completed massage therapy training at the Touch of Life School of Massage in Minnesota.
 
In 1998 she received the Massage Therapy and Oriental Bodywork certification from Eastwind School of Holistic Healing in Iowa, became licensed as a massage therapist in Iowa and received NCMTB certification.  
 
Joy owned and operated Healthy Inspirations Day Spa in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa from 1999-2001. During this time she also became an independent contractor at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in the Physical Therapy Department.
 
Joy trained as a Body Scan Technician and became certified in 2001. That same year she also received her Holistic Health Practitioner license in Santee, California.
 
Her work experience includes independent massage therapy contract services at California Body Day Spa in San Diego, California and independent contract services as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Body Scan Technician at the Body Scan Connection in Santee, California.
 
Since 2003 Joy has owned and operated Healthy Inspirations Spa and Guiding Light School of Massage Therapy and Integrated Health Studies.
 
Joy’s specialized training includes: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Aromatherapy, Vibrational and Energy Medicine, Positional Release Therapy, Craniosacral, Endermatherapie and Spa techniques, Nutrition and Compassionate Touch Therapy.
